Future English Teachers Celebrate National Day on Writing
The Community Writing Assistance Program—the branch of the Writing Center that offers free help with writing of all kinds to local community members—is expanding its services this fall! Thanks to a generous grant from the Wisconsin Public Library System, CWA instructors Dave Stock, Rebecca Lorimer, and Beth Godbee will offer a series of workshops on employment-based writing, with topics ranging from resumes and cover letters to online job applications and professional web-based communication. Upcoming workshops will be held at public libraries in Cross Plains, Monroe, New Glarus, Poynette, and Stevens Point. Read more about the Community Writing Assistance Program
