Our program provides quality instruction to adults who wish to improve their proficiency in English. We offer full-time 15-week programs in the Fall and Spring semesters and an 8-week Summer program. Our classes begin at the intermediate level. Please note that we do not offer beginning-level instruction.

International Students

Any non-native English speaker admitted to the university may take ESL courses. Special students and exchange students may be allowed to take ESL courses when space is available.

Teacher Development

A Certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) is offered as a Graduate version and Undergraduate version (including Special students who have completed an undergraduate degree) to those who wish to teach English as a foreign or second language, normally in positions abroad.
