How do I get to Madison?

How do I get from the airport to campus?

The most efficient way is to take a taxi. It will cost about $20.

How can I get around Madison?

  • By bike: Madison has 17 miles of bike paths, and major roadways have bike lanes. There is ample parking for bikes on campus. Here is a link to a map of bike routes in Madison

What is the weather like?

  • Summer tends to be warm and sometimes hot and humid.
  • Fall tends to be cooler but beautiful as the leaves change color.

What clothes should I bring?

  • If you arrive in January, you will need a warm jacket, hat, scarf, and mittens.

How can I apply to the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a degree student?

Apply as early as possible. Consult application deadlines on the website.
