Professor Nystrand teaches undergraduate writing courses and graduate seminars in composition and rhetoric. His current research project is The Semiotics of Influence.

Adam Koehler is a third year PhD student in Composition and Rhetoric, minoring in Creative Writing. His research interests include the intersection of Composition & Rhetoric and Creative Writing, specifically in the ways the relationship between music and language contributes to rhetorical situations/knowledge; Writing Center Pedagogy; cultural theory/studies; and, of course, Composition Pedagogy. He also works in the Writing Center.
